DeGRAFF – Rain cancelled the racing action at Shady Bowl Speedway Saturday night. It was set to be the final points race for 2016 and Kids Night.

The Kids Night penny scramble and big wheel races will be held this Saturday.

The Main Event Super Late Models will make their first showing on that date. The pure stocks, tuners, compacts and spectator drag cars are also set to race along with the Main Event cars.

There will be no racing on Saturday, Sept. 3 so that the drivers can compete on the famed half-mile Winchester Speedway. The Saturday, Sept. 10 program has been changed to Sept. 11 so fans and drivers can go to the Columbus Motor Speedway as it closes its doors after 71 years of racing.

The final points race for Shady Bowl drivers will be on Sept. 11 and the 2016 champions will be crowned.
