COLUMBUS, Ohio – Six Buckeyes – including reigning NCAA champion Nathan Tomasello – appear in FloWrestling’s 2015-16 preseason rankings. Tomasello, who checks in at No. 1 at 125 pounds, and Graham High School graduate Bo Jordan, ranked No. 2 at 165 pounds, lead the way for the defending national champions.

In the team rankings, Ohio State is No. 6. It is one of five Big Ten schools in the Top 10 along with Penn State (No. 1), Iowa (No. 3), Michigan (No. 4) and Nebraska (No. 10).

Tomasello and Jordan also appear in FloWrestling’s Pound for Pound rankings – Tomasello at No. 9 and Jordan at No. 20.

Jordan is ranked No. 2 behind reigning national champion Alex Dieringer of Oklahoma State. Jordan, 22-2 last year, was a Big Ten finalist and finished third at the NCAA Championships. He won his first 17 matches of the season, was 11-0 in dual meets and 9-0 against Big Ten competition during the regular season.

After falling to Dieringer in the NCAA semifinals, he came back to win two consolation matches, giving the Buckeyes critical bonus points with a pin in the third-place match against Illinois’ Jackson Morse.
