UHS’s Adams signs to play soccer at Urbana U.

Urbana High School senior Trevor Adams will be continuing his soccer career for the Urbana University Blue Knights beginning in the fall of 2016.

Adams earned four varsity letters in soccer at UHS.

He was named captain his junior and senior years while leading the team in assists and earning the squad’s silver shoe award.

He currently is the school’s all-time assist leader.

Adams was named All-Central Buckeye Conference his junior and senior seasons and was named second team All-Dayton North.

The 2015 UHS boys soccer team was the first in school history to win a conference championship.

WL-S sports banquets

The WL-S softball team will host its end of season awards Monday, May 23 at 5 p.m. at the softball field for a cookout. Athletes are asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share. Drinks and table service will be provided.

The baseball team will host its end of season awards Monday, May 23 at 7p.m. at the main shelter house at Lions Park. Drinks, dessert and table service will be provided.

The boys and girls high school track teams will have their end of season awards night Wednesday, June 1 at the Lions Park. Athletes are asked to bring a dessert to share. Drinks and table service will be provided.

13-u softball

Custom Sportswear beat Moose, 11-3. Standouts were Jaycee Moore, Rachel Bever and Christina Moore.
