For UHS, Caleb Peterson was 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI, Kaleb Bowdle was 2 for 4 with a double and Seth Mangus had an RBI. Logan Rooney was 1 for 3.
Urbana (7-12) plays at Benjamin Logan on Monday.
Urbana softball falls
Urbana lost to Shawnee, 6-3, in 11 innings on Wednesday in CBC softball.
For UHS, Emma Burnside was 3 for 5, Katy Curnutte was 3 for 5 and Hannah Alvoid was 2 for 5 with an RBI. Alvoid also threw all 11 innings.

Cardinals win in baseball
Northeastern defeated Triad, 4-2, in OHC baseball on Thursday.
For THS, Trevor Instine had a double and 2 RBI, Shane Ford was 2 for 3 and Trent McIntyre had a triple.
Triad defeated Southeastern, 4-0, in OHC baseball on Wednesday.
For Triad, Tim Marsalis had a double, Briley Harlan had a double and Ford was 2 for 3.
Triad (15-5) plays at West Liberty-Salem on Friday.
Cardinals lose in softball
Northeastern defeated Triad, 11-4, on Thursday in OHC softball.
For THS, Madison Dolby was 3 for 4, Abby Ehrenborg was 2 for 4 with a home run and Jenna Ober doubled.
Triad (12-7, 8-3 OHC) plays at West Liberty-Salem on Friday.
WL-S softball wins
WL-S beat Cedarville, 15-0, in five innings on Thursday in OHC softball. Tyanna Seibert was the winning pitcher with 9 strikeouts. She also contributed on offense with a double and an RBI. Kenedie Cox was 3 for 3 with 2 stolen bases, Kylie Gilroy and Dierdre McGill each hit a triple, Olivia Ames added two hits and Grace Woodruff and Kelsey Day each added a hit.
WL-S hosts Triad on Friday.
The Tiger jayvee team lost to Kenton Ridge, 14-12. For WL-S, Laura Neer had 3 hits, Erica McCall had 2 hits and Maddie Estes had 2 hits. Tory Cordell had 2 doubles and Olivia Milliron had a three-run homer.
Graham baseball falls
Shawnee defeated Graham, 6-1, in CBC baseball on Thursday.
Allen St. Myers had the lone RBI for the Falcons.

Urbana tennis wins again
Urbana defeated Bellefontaine, 5-0, in CBC boys tennis on Thursday.
In first singles, Mklaine Eggleston won 6-3, 6-2. In second singles, Andrew Fansler won 6-3, 6-0. In third singles, Langston Kitchen won 6-4, 6-0.
In first doubles, Nick Shank and Greg Coffey won 6-0, 6-0 and in second doubles, Wes Brown and Bailey Ullah won 6-0, 6-1.
Urbana improves to 11-0 (6-0 CBC) with the victory.
Freyhof to sign with OWU
WL-S’s Morgan Freyhof will be signing her letter of intent to play soccer and run track at Ohio Wesleyan University today at 12:15 p.m. at WL-S in room 37.
