As someone who has known and been an educator with Jim Arter for 35 years, I strongly urge the voters of Urbana to elect him to their board of education. In all those years I taught with Jim there was never a time when he did not put the needs of the students first and foremost. The decisions he made concerning their welfare, whether in his classroom or for the entire school, were always thoroughly examined and carefully planned. Jim will apply the same compassionate, thorough and level headed thinking when making decisions for Urbana City Schools.
