Julie has resided in the WL-S school district for 18 years and has been active as a volunteer and sponsor to sports teams in various capacities. Julie and her husband Ryan of 21 years have five children currently in the school district. Their eldest was the WL-S class of 2016 valedictorian and their youngest will start kindergarten at WL-S in the 2018-2019 school year.

Julie has a heart for advocacy and her formal education from Cedarville University in social work will enable her to be the voice of the citizens in WL-S school district.
