Local Right to Life event draws 50

Champaign County Right to Life would like to thank the nearly 50 people who came out in the chilly weather for the annual Roe vs. Wade Witness on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 24, on Monument Square. Participants came from eight different churches and the Knights of Columbus, with three pastors attending: Fr. Larry Gearhart, Rev. Brian Wonn, and Rev. Wayne Taylor.

The event is a peaceful witness to the many lives lost to abortion in Champaign County (34 in 2014) and in the State of Ohio (21,186 in 2014). Planned Parenthood (the largest abortion business in the country) is responsible for over 320,000 abortions on average annually. In the case of Ohio, it loses the equivalent of a small town population every year. These losses amount to a war on unborn babies.

Profits at Planned Parenthood ($127 million in 2013-14) are covered by the $528 million of taxpayer money that the government funnels to the business.

For those women who need consolation, counseling, or medical attention after an abortion, they can contact Life Dynamics at 940 380-8800 or e-mail [email protected].

Sincerely yours

David George

President, Champaign County Right to Life
