Middle school students provide day of service

0

On April 24, United Service Day, over 400 middle schoolers from Urbana City Schools served their community in a variety of ways. Students cleaned gardens and parks, visited nursing homes, made gift baskets for police and firefighters, and painted at the county fairgrounds. Students in this photo are sprucing up an overlook at Cedar Bog Nature Preserve. If interested in hosting student workers at next year’s United Service Day, contact Urbana K-8.
