Arts Council hosts reception, art exhibit

The Champaign County Arts Council will hold a reception in honor of artist Eunice Bronkar on Friday, Oct. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. in its gallery at 119 Miami St., Urbana.

Bronkar’s exhibit will be on display in the gallery Oct. 17-27. Hours are Tuesday-Friday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Bronkar received her B.F.A. and Masters in Art Education from Wright State University and spent the next 10 years teaching at Clark State Community College. She has been accepted in over 100 national, regional, state and area shows and received more than 50 awards in state and area exhibitions, including three Best of Shows.

She holds professional memberships in New York, Washington, D.C., and Florida, as well as Ohio, where she is a member of the Ohio Watercolor Society, the Western Ohio Watercolor Society, the Dayton Society of Painters and Sculptors, and the Springfield Museum of Art.
