Cole given Peace Award

West Liberty-Salem’s Logan Cole is hugged by Bev Titus at halftime of Saturday’s Urbana University game. Cole was awarded the inaugural Knights’ Peace Award, in memory of Alicia Titus – who was killed on Sept. 11, 2001. Bev Titus is Alicia’s mother. The award was created to recognize individuals actively involved in the promotion and support of peace. Cole was injured on Jan. 20 during a school shooting at WL-S and has also been recognized with other awards since the shooting incident.
