The Champaign Family YMCA Welcome Center will take registrations for the Urbana Youth Flag Football League for all 3rd-6th graders until Aug. 19. After that date, players may be added, but late fees could be incurred.

Third-6th grade boys and girls welcome. Games are played on Sundays at 1, 2:30 or 4 p.m. at the Boyce Street Complex in Urbana.

A coaches meeting and team split will be the week of Aug. 21. Practices begin the week of Aug. 28. Games will begin Sunday, Sept. 10.

Cheerleaders needed also

Third-6th graders are welcome. Practices will begin Tuesday, Aug. 22, at the Y and cheerleaders will perform at one flag football game each Sunday starting Sept. 10. An Urbana University game is included.
