To help ensure local veterans receive services available to them through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Champaign County Veteran Service Office is welcoming the Dayton VA Medical Center’s Veterans Mobile Clinic to Urbana.

The free mobile clinic will be made available to all veterans from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 2 at the local veteran service office at 220 E. Court St.

The mobile clinic will have enrollment and benefit information available to any veteran interested in learning more about the services offered by the Dayton VA Medical Center and its surrounding Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC).

The nearest CBOC is located at 512 S. Burnett Road in Springfield.

The Veterans Mobile Clinic will also provide free hearing aid checks and cleanings to all veterans.

While no appointment is required to visit the mobile clinic, appointments can be made by calling 937-262-2159.
