SPRINGFIELD – The Greater Springfield Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP of Clark, Greene and Champaign Counties) will host an informational session and presentation titled “Beneath the Gavel” 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, at Wittenberg University.
The event, part of the ongoing formation of this association, will be held in the first floor Bayley Alumni House Boardroom, 134 Ward St., at Wittenberg.
Learn about creating special events from an experienced auctioneer’s viewpoint. Doug Sorrell wrote “Beneath the Gavel” and is a Benefit Auction Specialist. He has successfully worked with hundreds of nonprofits in North America.
The meeting cost is $15, payable by cash, check (made to Parkhurst), PayPal or credit card at the door. This includes lunch, meeting materials and one CPE* for social workers provided by Butler Consulting.
