Cat neutering group holding Saturday fundraiser

0

The Black and Orange Cat Foundation (B&O) will hold a fundraising sale on June 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. inside and outside (weather permitting) at 1150 Scioto St. in Urbana near Pa’s Produce. All funds raised will support Champaign County cats.

B&O has spayed and neutered 544 cats in Champaign County since January 2015 through trapping and mobile clinics. Although the group mainly focuses on stray and feral cats, it also helps low-income residents who cannot afford the cost of sterilization and medical care to obtain care for their cats. Funds mainly go toward decreasing the cat overpopulation problem.

Anyone interested in donating usable, non-clothing items for the sale can contact Rebecca Hoffman at 937-313-8315. All donations are tax deductible.
