SPRINGFIELD – How many “easy to use” yard and garden power tools are sitting in the corner rusting away in your garage or shed? The Master Gardeners of Clark County Perennial Committee on June 22 from 5 to 6 p.m. will demonstrate power tools that are most efficient, effective and easy to use. Discover why people like them, how to use them and where they can be purchased. This class is taught by Perennial Committee of Master Gardeners of Clark County.

Some of the group’s favorite garden work gloves and hand tools will be offered for sale. This class is open to the public. The fee of $5 will be paid at the door. There is no pre-registration. Meet on the patio at Snyder Park Gardens and Arboretum, Snyder Park Clubhouse, 1900 Park St., Springfield.

This class precedes the Garden Walk in the Park, which starts at 6:30 p.m. The free walk is open to the public.
