Children invited to register for theater workshop

The Grandworks Foundation will Presents Cinderella at the Gloria Theatre in downtown Urbana this summer.

​Missoula Children’s Theatre Drama Camp & Performances will be held at The Gloria July 10-15.

Ah, Cinderella… the perfect fairy tale! Don’t miss out on a spectacular experience complete with cute little mice, helpful pumpkins, plenty of bad guys and a happily ever after.

Participants will work with Missoula Children’s Theatre professionals doing fun workshops, activities, and rehearsing a full-scale production with local children as cast members.

Each student registered will have a role. Roles are written for all ages, skills and experience levels, and will be determined during the audition process that first day. Students must attend each rehearsal for their age group. Alternative activities will be provided each afternoon for non-rehearsing students.

​Registration at the Gloria Theatre:

(All registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Age groups may fill up quickly.)

Thursday, June 1: 1-6 p.m.

Saturday, June 3: Noon-4 p.m.

Tuesday, June 6: 7-9 p.m.

Thursday, June 8: 1-6 p.m.

There will be 60 roles for young actors entering first grade-high school (Fall ’17).

There is a $95 enrollment fee (cash, check & credit cards accepted).

Registration includes one performance ticket.

Rehearsals are Monday, July 10 through Friday, July 14, from 10 a.m. to noon and 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Students must attend when their part is scheduled. Some students will attend morning and afternoon rehearsals, and will need to bring a sack lunch.

Performances are Friday, July 14, 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, July 15, 2 p.m. at the Gloria Theatre. Admission will be $10.
