Richard Borgerding, originally from Troy, Ohio, entered the U.S. Navy in 1985. He worked on F-14 Tomcats at NAS Miramar, California, where he installed aircraft cameras and served as an extra for the movie “Top Gun.” He then served onboard the U.S.S. Carl Vinson and as an inflight technician on P-3 Orion patrol aircraft before transferring to VXE-6 Antarctic squadron. In this presentation he will talk about his time on the ice and display clothing and photographs.

Borgerding currently teaches Aerospace Occupations at the Upper Valley Career Center in Piqua.

As always this program is free and open to the public.
