Cut Ups and Carpenters had the second meeting of the year April 3. Members reviewed the elected officers. Officers are as follows: President: Aislen Setty; Vice-President: Alexa Adams; Secretary: Morgan Pine; Treasurer: Anders Setty; News Reporters: Breah/Stacia Weislak; Recreation Leaders: Gillian/Teagan Setty and Marissa Pine; Health/Safety Reporter: Dena Wilson. Members received officer handbooks; discussed individual projects and community service project ideas. Meeting was adjourned, and refreshments were enjoyed by all.

Mad River JR. Livestock had a meeting on March 22. All members gave short reports about themselves. The meetings safety tip by Ashely Good was, “if you’re home alone and a tornado occurs, go to your basement or into a room that is small with no windows”. At the next meeting two members will give reports.

Our 4H club, For The Love of Everything, has been very busy. On 3/1917, we held a meeting at Melissa Nunamaker’s house. Sixteen of 18 members were present. Pledges were led by Ben Rogers. Unfinished business related to fundraising ideas. A yard sale plan was finalized for 4/2/17 at 103 W. Sandusky. All project books are in. Carter Titus, the recreation leader, held a blind Pringles taste test which all members enjoyed. Refreshments were supplied by the Massie family. The Cloverbud members completed a cool project in Consumer Sciences. Using a $15 budget, they each planned a meal with all 5 food groups. They shopped grocery ads to determine the best buys to stay in budget. They had a blast in this activity! The club’s next meeting will be held at Jill Titus’ home on 4/2/17.

The St. Paris Champion Livestock 4-H club held a meeting March 19 at the Stickley farm. The meeting was called to order at 4:04. There were 9 members, 1 guest, and 1 advisor present at the meeting. The club decided to serve at the Caring Kitchen for their community service project. New officers were elected: President- James Stickley, Vice-President- Sam Stickley, Secretary- Matt Flora, Treasurer- Emma McDaniel, and Reporter- Ava Prince. The meeting was adjourned at 4:15 and a Quality Assurance training was held after the meeting.
