Simon Kenton Trail cleaned for Spring

0

In preparation of the celebration of Opening Day for Trails on April 8, the Simon Kenton Pathfinders recently spent the day clearing trash and doing maintenance along the Simon Kenton Trail.

The SKP is an all volunteer organization whose main focus is the continued improvement and maintenance of the trail system within Champaign and Logan Counties. No County or City funds are provided to maintain the trail. Our present main efforts are to secure funds to pave the present crushed aggregate portion between Urbana and Bellefontaine. All funds raised are used for maintenance and development of the trail system.

The trail is open and ready to walk, run, bird watch and ride bikes.

Donations for this effort can be sent to Simon Kenton Pathfinders, P.O.Box 91, Urbana, Ohio, 43078.
