Colder weather is expected to return Sunday and Monday. According to the church website, work on the exterior of the building started last week and should be complete by the end of this week. The curb on Main Street was formed and is ready for concrete to be poured. Inside, the opening was cut for the new entrance to the sanctuary and a steel header beam installed. The two spaces are officially connected. Preparations are being made for the new stairs to be installed in the stairwell. The elevator shaft is being prepped for the elevator company to come in to work in a few weeks. Drywall work continues in the lobby and mezzanine. Kapp Construction is part of the project.
