The Champaign County Sheriff’s Office, FOP Lodge 46, would like to thank the Mechanicsburg Fraternal Order of Eagles & Auxiliary, CRSI, Orbis, Walmart, Wright’s Bikes, White’s Auto Group and those citizens of our community that donated toys for our 2015 campaign, “Stomp out a Blue Christmas.” We were able to surpass our goals with overwhelming support of these organizations and our community. We started this program in 2014 and were able to provide Christmas to three families that were on hard times and bring smiles to the faces of those family’s children.
In 2015, with your support, we were able to assist 21 families, with a total of 58 children ranging from 16 years to 3 months old. As you can see, we were able to greatly expand our efforts in assisting families of Champaign County in 2015 and bring the Christmas spirit to those families less fortunate and give excitement to those family’s children as their faces lit up when Santa knocked on their door and put the gifts under the Christmas tree.
Again, this would not have been possible without the support of our local your organizations and the community. We look forward to continuing this campaign in the future and hope you will continue to support “Stomp out a Blue Christmas.”
