Mutual Catawba Road between Everett Road and state Route 54 will be closed to thru-traffic beginning Tuesday, Oct. 4, for three or four weeks for road reconstruction, according to the county Engineer’s Office. This work will be completed by Phenix Stabilization, LLC, and funded from the engineer’s share of the motor vehicle license fees and gasoline tax.
