SPRINGFIELD – Second Harvest Food Bank will hold its sixth annual Thanks for Giving Dessert Auction on Tuesday, Nov. 24, in its warehouse at 701 E. Columbia Street, Springfield.

Second Harvest provides food to pantries in Champaign, Logan, Clark and Madison counties.

Clark County Sheriff Gene Kelly will auction homemade desserts donated by bakers from MPR, LLC, Covenant Presbyterian Church, Second Harvest Food Bank staff and volunteers. Light hors d’oeuvres and sparkling beverages will be served beginning at 5 p.m. and the auction will open at 5:45 p.m.
