If I were Principal for a day: I would host a giant basketball tournament.

Favorite school memory: When I accidentally pulled the fire alarm in 4th Grade.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: My Parents because of how they conduct themselves with humility and grace to others. Jesus because He is my Lord and Savior.

Lately, I have been reading: Resolutions in world missions and my Bible.

My advice to parents: Always do your best to understand your child’s perspective.

My biggest regret: Not trying harder academically my Freshman year.

Next year I will be: hopefully in college majoring in biblical studies.

KYLIE GILROY

PARENTS: Kurt and Lisa Gilroy

School Activities and Awards: Honor Roll Academic Excellence Award Scholar Athlete Softball – 1st team All League Volleyball – Assist Record National Honor Society Student Council IPad Committee Key Club Cale Club Prom/Homecoming Committee Class Secretary

If I were principal for a day: I would have Chipotle cater for lunch and give someone a detention because it sounds fun.

Favorite school memory: There are way too many memories to choose from. Laughing and hanging out with friends have made an unforgettable experience.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: Mrs. Peterson, 5th Grade Teacher at WLS

Because: In 7th grade basketball she pulled me aside one day to set my head straight. She has pushed me to work hard to reach my full potential. The reason I am the person I am today is because of her.

Lately, I have been reading: All the text messages and tweets from my friends.

My advice to parents: Let go of your children during their high school years so they can grow as a person. Let them make their own mistakes so they can learn from them.

My biggest regret: I don’t believe in regrets because every experience is a chance to grow.

Next year I will be: attending the University of Cincinnati to major in Architectural Engineering.
