WEST LIBERTY – A Rushsylvania woman died Friday in her vehicle, which was discovered in a field near Mad River Farm Market in northern Champaign County.

Champaign County Sheriff Matt Melvin said his office received a call at 7:33 p.m. about a one-vehicle accident in the 8000 block of North U.S. Route 68.

Yvonne Burk, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene, Melvin said.

“The victim is believed to have died from a medical condition or something of that nature,” Melvin said, adding Champaign County Coroner Dr. Joshua Richards is handling that part of the investigation.

The Indian Lake Local Schools website states Burk was employed by the district as a full-time bus driver and middle school aide.
