The 17th annual Memorial Ride will be Sunday, Sept. 11.

The Simon Kenton Pathfinders are hosting the ride. This year the group will honor Rita A. Larson, whose family is sponsoring the ride.

The ride begins and ends at the Urbana Depot, 644 Miami St., and includes three routes: a century, a half century, and a 15 mile ride on the Simon Kenton Trail. Registration is from 8-10 a.m/ the day of the ride, or riders can pick up a registration form at the Depot, on the trail, or online at simonkentonpathfinders.org.

A continental breakfast and lunch is included in the price. The event is known for its bean soup and cornbread.

The Pathfinders are an all volunteer organization, and all proceeds go to either the paving of the extension to Bellefontaine, or to the maintenance of the trail.
