A test drive fundraiser for the A.B. Graham Ohio Hi-Point FFA will be held 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at White’s Dodge, as part of a national program of fundraisers at participating dealerships in celebration of the future of agriculture.

All are invited to go to the dealership, 1325 N. Main St. in Urbana, and take a test drive in a new Ram truck. For each test drive completed during the fundraiser, Ram will donate $20 to A.B. Graham Ohio Hi-Point FFA, up to $2,000. White’s will have a full lineup of 2015 Ram trucks. Volunteers from the dealership and the chapter will be on hand to assist during the event. Anyone age 18 or over, with a valid driver’s license, may drive and earn a donation.

“Together with White’s, we hope to raise up to $2,000 in one day,” said Chapter Advisor Dawn Wallace. “This is a great opportunity for our friends and family to lend their support without having to reach into their own pockets. One-hundred percent of the Ram Truck donation goes directly to our local FFA program.”

“We would like to invite everyone to come out and join us at the dealership,” added Nick Mescher. “Take a short test drive in the Ram truck of your choice, and help raise money for the next crop of leaders in the agriculture community.”

All test drive participants will also be entered into the 2015 FCA US LLC National Giveaway for a chance to win $45,000 toward any eligible Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram Truck, FIAT, or Alfa Romeo vehicle.

Ram’s relationship with the National FFA Organization spans more than 60 years. With the premiere of its “Farmer” video during the broadcast of Super Bowl XLVII, the Ram Truck brand declared 2013 the “Year of the Farmer,” and launched a year-long initiative to bring national attention to the significance of the American farmer. Ram donated $1 million to the National FFA Organization after views of the “Farmer” video on the Ram truck brand website reached a 10-million view milestone in less than one week. “The Next Crop Project,” launched in 2014, is Ram truck brand’s way of turning the focus even more directly on the future leaders of agriculture. It is a celebration of, and investment in, tomorrow’s biologists, chemists, veterinarians, business leaders, entrepreneurs and farmers. During its inaugural year, “The Next Crop Project” raised more than $100,000 in a single day for the National FFA Organization in support of chapter leadership programs.
