Urbana Family Medicine and Pediatrics will hold an open house noon-4 p.m. on Friday, July 22, at 204 Patrick Ave.

The newly-named practice combines Mercy Well Child Pediatrics and South Urbana Family Medicine with their full scope of services under one roof.

The open house will include tours and a meet-and-greet with physicians and staff.

Excel Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation will have an obstacle course for both children and adults at the event, and Mercy McAuley Center will have children’s activities.

The Urbana Fire Division will team up with Community Mercy Occupational Health to perform car seat checks.

Representatives from Mercy Memorial Hospital, Mercy Memorial Wound Care Center, Community Mercy Home Care and other facilities will be on-site.

Food will be provided.

“This should be a fun event for the whole family,” said Jene Bramel, MD, a pediatrician with the group.

“Families will not only see our new facility and the full scope of service we provide, but can also connect with other services available in the community,” said Jeffery Bowers, MD, a family medicine physician.
