Green Energy Ohio (GEO), a non-profit renewable energy advocate, will showcase clean energy and green design in Ohio Oct. 3-5. This 13th GEO tour stretches across 31 counties showcasing over 170 open houses at over 100 tour sites with installed solar, wind, energy efficiency and other green energy technologies.

The Southwest Ohio Tour sites include 11 private homes, five businesses, two schools and three public places. The tour is free to the public during designated times posted at the GEO web site: www.greenenergyohio.org/ost.

Visitors can choose from local sites and create a tour convenient to them.

GEO Executive Director Bill Spratley said: “The free GEO Tour is a great opportunity for Ohioans to learn first-hand about the latest in solar, wind, biomass and energy efficiency.
