Animal Welfare League

If looking for a cuddle-bug in a pint-sized body, Dobbie is the boy for you. He weighs 9 pounds and is 3 years old. He’s a social boy who loves adults and children and gets along well with other smaller dogs and cats. He does not like big dogs and would not do well in a home with big dogs. He is house-trained and walks well on a leash. As with all Champaign County Animal Welfare League (CCAWL) pets, he is completely vetted before adoption. Included in the $130 adoption donation is spaying/neutering, vaccinations including rabies, worming, heart-worm testing and treatment with flea and heart-worm prevention. CCAWL adopted dogs are micro-chipped and have their 2016 dog license and dental cleaning. If interested in visiting Dobbie or any other of the adoptable pets, call us at 937-834-5236. We are located at 3858 state Route 56, Mechanicsburg, OH, 43044. Dog and cat adoption applications can be found at www.champaigncoanimalwelfareleague.com. You may fax an adoption application to 937-834-5171. A complete listing of available pets is at www.petfinder.com and www.adoptapet.com. The David Robert Wetzell Memorial Clinic has been up and operating for several weeks. Low-cost spaying and neutering is offered to the public. Low-cost vaccinations will be offered at least twice a year. Please call 937-834-5236 for further information and details. CCAWL is a non-profit and always appreciates donations of paper towels, kitten chow, bleach, cat toys, 6-inch paper plates (not plastic or foam), Clorox wipes and smaller Kroger/Wal-Mart plastic bags. Please feel free to stop by and check us out. We have many amazing things happening soon.
