St. Paris makes safety event fun


Johnson-St. Paris Fire District coordinated a “drug drop-off” day and children’s safety event on Saturday. Pictured are local kids playing in recreational foam on the 92-degree afternoon. CareFlight participated in the event with their mobile ground unit, the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office completed Ident- A- Kid on approx 30 children and the St. Paris Police Department collected 58 pounds of prescription medication in the drug drop-off program. Overall it was a successful and fun day, according to event organizers.
