Local OB/GYN offers free educational program on issue impacting women

Dr. Daniel Nesselroade, an OB/GYN with an office in Urbana, will offer a free educational program on Pelvic Organ Prolapse on Monday, Oct. 12, from noon to 1 p.m. at Mercy Memorial Hospital in the large conference room. Lunch will be served.

Pelvic organ prolapse occurs when a pelvic organ—such as the bladder—drops (prolapses) from its normal place in your lower belly and pushes against the walls of the vagina. This can happen when the muscles that hold your pelvic organs in place get weak or stretched from childbirth or surgery.

Dr. Nesselroade will discuss signs and symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse and will also review treatment options. To reserve a space at the event, call 484-6112 by Oct. 5. Space is limited.

Dr. Nesselroade is currently accepting new OB and GYN patients at Physicians and Surgeons for Women. Their Urbana office is located at 900 Scioto St., Suite #6 Urbana, OH 43078. Call (937) 323-7340 for an appointment.
