It’s time for Fido’s Swimfest!

0

The 2nd annual Fido’s Swimfest will be held 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23. The Champaign County Citizens for Canines invite the community to the city pool at Melvin Miller Park for a fun afternoon of swimming with your canine friend. Last year was the first year that the organization began this event and it was so successful and fun, the CCCC decided this should be an annual event.

Thanks to the city of Urbana and Pool Manager Cheryl Wade, the CCCC is making this event free to the public as it will be the last day the pool is open.

Also at the event will be dog-related vendors giving out goodies or chances to win dog-related items to those who purchase a $10 ticket from CCCC. If interested in being a vendor, contact Audra Bean, co-chair of CCCC, at [email protected].
