Champaign County celebrates National Library Week

The Champaign County Library is celebrating National Library Week with a number of activities. On Tuesday, April 12, the Bow Wow Book Brigade will be at the library from 4 to 5 p.m. Read to one of the therapy dogs that will be on hand to help encourage reading.

Feeling stressed? Visit the North Lewisburg Branch Library and join the Coloring to Calm fun at 6:30 p.m.

Learn about the Meals-On-Wheels program at the Champaign Talks presentation on Thursday, April 14, at 10 a.m.

This year’s National Library Week festivities will end with a celebration of local authors on Saturday, April 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A number of local authors will share how they developed their writing. Many will have books available for purchase.
