Fralick retires from Security National Bank

SPRINGFIELD – Security National Bank (Security) has announced the retirement of its President and Chief Executive Officer William C. Fralick.

Fralick joined Security 40 years ago and has been the bank’s president since 1997 and CEO since 2003. Under his leadership, the bank maintained and grew its position as a top community bank, providing deposits, loans and trusts and investment services to families and business in six counties including Champaign.

Security National Bank’s local advisory board has approved John A. Brown to lead the bank after Fralick’s retirement on April 30, 2016. Brown has 25 years of banking experience, and has successfully led two other community banks within the Park National Bank organization. Brown is currently president of Richland Bank in Mansfield, Ohio.

Security board member and local business leader Alicia Sweet Hupp will succeed Fralick as chair of the bank’s advisory board. Established in 1903, Security National Bank operates 20 full-service banking offices. Security National Bank is one of 11 community banks within the Park National organization. Each bank has a local president, local leadership team, and local advisory board.
