Thrift Store offers financial guidance

0

The Community Thrift Store, 127 Scioto St., has implemented a program to assist residents through stressful financial situations, find the root cause of the problem and guide clients through a plan to improve their quality of life.

The store also has partnered with a local staffing agency that provides in-store job interviews that often lead to employment.

If interested in learning program guidelines and requirements, call 937-488-4244 from 1 to 4 p.m. weekdays or 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.

The Thrift Store is in its second year of offering food and gas vouchers, clothing and household goods. This is made possible through donations and the support of the community.

Store hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays. Items include furniture, clothing, appliances, housewares, jewelry, tools, toys and more.
