Staff Writer

ST. PARIS - The county Sheriff's Office is following leads on suspects believed to have stolen cash and other items from the Lakeland Golf Course Pub and Grill, 1772 Kiser Lake Road, St. Paris, according to Chief Deputy Matt Melvin.

Asked how much money was stolen, he said that information was unavailable.

"We know they came away with some cash, gift cards and some beer and wine items," he said.

The suspects are believed to have entered the restaurant between midnight and 7 a.m. July 26.

Lakeland is a public golf course owned by Ana and Ron Burns. The Pub and Grill opened for business in late June.
